The Nilgiris: TMC Youth Wing Leader Yuvraj stated that he had emphasised to the Central Government to refrain from implementing hydrocarbon and methane projects in Tamil Nadu.

Addressing the media in Nilgiris, Yuvraj said, "Election results will bring us victory. The alliance of TMC will emerge victorious in all 40 constituencies. The DMK is trying to topple the ruling party for two and a half years in vain. Their no-confidence motion against the Speaker will end in failure."
"With regard to NEET exams, we have stressed that the exam to be held this year should be the last one and it should not be conducted from next year onward. We also requested to regulate Cable TV prices. Toll plaza prizes have increased and so our party will stage demonstrations at 32 toll plazas in the first week of June," he added.
Commenting on the recent Sri Lankan bombings, Yuvraj said, "Since many have died in the Easter day bomb blasts in Sri Lanka, the Central government should ensure the safety of the Tamil people residing there," he noted.
